A spiritual director is a person with whom you talk about how your spiritual journey
is progressing.

The term "spiritual director" is a traditional one that does not mean
someone who decides a direction for you. A spiritual director is experienced
in helping you sort through your ideas and feelings about the spiritual path
of your own choosing.

In sessions with a spiritual director, you get to step back, look at your life from a
spiritual perspective, and focus your intention. These talks are often by telephone.

Jonathan Ellis has been such a spiritual director for many years and he now
works with scores of people from all around the U.S.

Jon is not affiliated with any organization and he serves as a spiritual support for
individuals from many different backgrounds.

Spiritual direction sessions are most commonly scheduled once a month.
