have regular sessions with a spiritual director. There may be periods
where you want to have a spiritual direction session every week for a
while and other times when more than a month might pass between talks.

Jonathan Ellis works as a spiritual director for individuals who are
on an independent spiritual path. This includes people who are
working primarily within one religious tradition as well as people
who are drawing on a variety of spiritual sources.

A talk with a spiritual director is also a time to relax and rejuvenate.
At its best, a spiritual direction session is an experience of spiritual healing.

Following the practice in a number of spiritual traditions, Jonathan is
supported entirely by personal gifts that can be made by anyone
who knows of his spiritual work. There is no set fee for individual monthly
talks with Jon as a spiritual director.

Since Jon's sessions are usually by telephone, he can work with
people from all around the country.
